ACS REGISTRATION & TUITION CHARGES FOR 2010-2011
Tuition Charges
The table below shows tuition rates for individual students for the entire school year. These charges include a non-refundable Registration Deposit, which is payable at the time of enrollment. Tuition also includes facilities, books/materials, field trip, electives, and graduation (elementary) fees.
Please note two incentives offered for the early enrollment of current ACS students and their siblings: (1) The Registration Deposit for current students enrolled before March 1, 2010, is half (50%) of the amount of this deposit on or after that date; and (2) The registration deposit required to re-enroll multiple students from the same family will be limited to $100 per family during the early enrollment period.

Tuition Charges for Part-time/Home-school Students

K – 5th Grade: $650.00/core subject (taught daily); $345.00/minor subject (taught 1-2 times weekly)

6th – 8th Grade: $725.00/core subject (taught daily); $395.00/elective subject (taught 2-3 times weekly)
Payment Options
- Full Payment – Pay in full before school begins: receive 3% discount if paid by July 10.
- Semester Payments – Pay half of tuition by July 10 and remainder by December 10.
- Monthly Payments – Eleven (11) payments July through May by automatic debit from your checking or savings account. This service is provided through an independent tuition management company.
Fees
- Facilities Fee: To cover the costs of leasing from the Lindberg Road Church to operate the school, and to cover the costs of maintaining these facilities, tuition includes a charge of $25 per student. This portion of tuition is non-refundable after the first day of the school year.
- Book & Field Trip Fees: Tuition includes the cost of books, materials, and field trips at each grade level, part or all of which are non-refundable.
- Tuition Collection Service Fee: For each family that elects to pay tuition charges through the Monthly Payments option, a fee of $40.00 will be added to the tuition of the oldest child in the family. This fee is non-refundable after the tuition collection service has collected the first tuition payment.
- Elective Courses Fee (Secondary Only): Tuition includes $60.00 for two courses at $30.00/course.
- Resource Fee: $4.00 per session (payable in office monthly as accrued)
- Athletic Fee: $20.00 - $40.00 per sport, depending on grade level (payable at sign-up)
- Graduation Fee: (Elementary): Tuition includes this charge of $25.00 for 5th graders.

* Tuition discounts do not apply to part-time students.
** For the purpose of calculating multi-child discounts, the child enrolled in the highest grade is considered the first child; the child enrolled in the second highest grade is considered the second child; and so on.
Tuition Credit for Recruiting - Parents may earn a tuition credit of up to $100 for each new student that enrolls in ACS as a result of their referal. At the time parents enroll a new student, they must identify the ACS parent who referred them to ACS with the recomendation that they enroll their child. Call the school for details.
Financial Policy - Upon enrolling a student in Anderson Christian School, the parent or guardian assumes responsibility for compliance with all terms of the Financial Policy adopted by the ACS Board of Directors. Registration is not complete until parents have paid the required registration deposit and submitted a signed copy of the Financial Policy.
Financial Aid - The Associates of ACS and the ACS School Board provide tuition assistance for a limited number of qualified applicants each year. If you believe that you will need and qualify for such assistance, please request a copy of the tuition assistance application. In order to be considered for assistance, a student must be registered for the 2010-2011 school year, and the application must be submitted by the deadlines announced by the Associates and the School Board.
